Process
How a custom suit is made
Before the measurement comes the conversation. These five steps apply to a single wedding suit and to uniforms for an entire institution — only the scale changes.
Five steps
From conversation to a suit ready to wear
Each step has a clear purpose, so you always know what is happening and what comes next.
-
01
Consultation
Understanding the purpose, your preferences and how the suit will be worn.
-
02
Fabric selection
Choosing cloth, colour and details to suit the purpose and budget.
-
03
Measurement
Measurements are taken person by person and become a pattern made for you.
-
04
Fitting
The suit is tried on and adjusted until it feels right.
-
05
Delivery
Handed over after a final check, ready to wear.
01 · Consultation
We listen first
The consultation is where every suit begins. We want to understand what the suit is for, when and where it will be worn, and the impression you want to make.
For corporate orders, this conversation also covers the number of employees, the different roles and the schedule your company needs.
- Purpose: business, wedding or a formal occasion
- Preference: silhouette, colour, fabric and finishing
- Fit: your proportions and how you move each day
02 · Fabric selection
Cloth chosen with purpose
You can see and feel the swatches in person. The choice depends on the purpose, the climate, how often the suit will be worn and your budget.
- Wool and wool blends for business suits
- Lighter cloths for daytime events
- More durable fabrics for daily uniforms
03 · Measurement
Measured individually, cut to your pattern
Measurements are taken one by one, following each person’s proportions and posture. From those measurements, a pattern is made for you — not picked from standard sizes.
For certain requests, our team can take measurements at your office or location; the arrangement depends on the size of the order.
04 · Fitting
Adjusted until it feels right
The suit is tried on and refined: shoulders, sleeve length, waist and the break of the trousers. Every adjustment is noted, so the finished suit truly follows your body and the way you move.
05 · Delivery
Ready to wear
Your suit is handed over after a final check — sharp, comfortable and ready to wear. For corporate orders, uniforms are delivered on the schedule agreed in the quotation.
A short guide
How should a suit fit?
Three details we check at every fitting — and that you can check yourself in the mirror.
-
01
Shoulders
The seam follows your natural shoulder line
Neither hanging past the shoulder nor pulling. The right shoulder lets the whole jacket fall correctly.
-
02
Jacket
A clean silhouette that still moves with you
Buttoned, the front lies flat without crossing creases — and you can still raise your arms comfortably.
-
03
Trousers
The hem falls neatly on the shoe
The trouser meets the shoe with a minimal break, without excess fabric bunching above it.
Questions
About the process
How many fittings will I need?
It depends on the style and your needs. We keep refining until the suit feels right, rather than working to a fixed number of sessions.
How long does the process take?
Personal orders usually take around 2–4 weeks, including fittings. Large corporate orders can take up to 3 months, depending on quantity and fabric.
Can measurements be taken at my office or home?
For certain requests, yes. Our team can visit your office or location; availability depends on the size of the order.
What should I bring to the consultation?
Just an idea of what you need and your event date. If you can, bring the shirt and shoes you plan to wear with the suit — it helps us set the sleeve and trouser length more precisely.
